About myself

I defended my thesis in June 2011 at ETH Zurich with Sebastian Bonhoeffer. Since then, I have been working as a research assistant at ETH in Bonhoeffer Lab. My interests are focused around the topic of antagonistic coevolution, especially in the context of host-parasite and host-pathogen interactions. By using various theoretical tools (like mathematical modelling or data analysis) I examine such coevolutionary process at both the within- and the between-host level. I am particularly interested in the impact of host's immunity on the evolution of parasites, and the adaptability of the latter to the host population.
