Evolutionary ecology of infectious diseases: Current topics

Topic of this year (Fall 2010): Evolution of Drug Resistance

In this course, we will discuss the molecular mechanisms and the population biology of resistance evolution, as well as strategies that can be taken to control the evolution of drug resistance. The course will be structured as follows:

0) Introduction (slides)
1) Bacteria (list of papers)
2) Viruses (list of papers)
3) Malaria (list of papers)
4) Agricultural pests (list of papers)
5) Cancer (list of papers)

Please click on the links above to find lists of papers relating to the respective group of organisms.
